Design website for an NPO project to promote Community-based Tourism in Vietnam
CBT Bac Ha project derives from the Gender-Responsive Equitable Agriculture and Tourism (GREAT) Program funded by Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) in Vietnam to promote gender equality and women’s economic empowerment, with a specific focus on ethnic minority women. The website’s objective is to help promote community-based tourism in Bac Ha Province in order to help increase income for selected households through the development of the CBT model;
ViiVue was in charge of designing the logo and website for the project with the main goal to inspire travelers to come and explore the area. Though very Instagrammable, this destination is still unknown to many people. We try to give our audience a sneak peek of the stunning landscapes and exciting activities by using big background images combining with hand-sketched illustrations throughout the design. The website is also packed with helpful information such as tours, accommodation and transportation options to help people plan their trips easily.
